    Meet Mr. J.


                                                     
           
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 2006.  I obtained my Master's degree in Educational Leadership/ Administration from Maryville University in 2011.

I began my career here at Spoede as a Teacher Assistant for 4th and 5th grades. Then I taught 6th grade at St. Louis Charter School in south city for one year. I came back to Spoede and taught fifth grade  for five years.  This is my eleventh year teaching third grade.  I am very excited!!

I have been married to my wife, Crystal, for 20 years.  We have 2 beautiful girls.  I also have 3 dogs named Louie, Cooper, and Rosie.
    







































Fun facts about me!!!!

        I am a huge sports fan and car enthusiast.  I
        love playing hockey and soccer any chance I
        get.  I come from a family of 6 kids- 4 boys
        and 2 girls. The number 3 is my favorite
        number.  You can usually find me hanging out
        on the hockey rink or enjoying a good book.
